- Always show respect to your instructors and training partners. Every student receives the right to to refuse sparring or training with other individuals.
- Maintain good hygiene.
- Keep finger and toenails short and clean to prevent injury to yourself and others.
- Make sure that you bring clean and appropriate training gear. (For example: Gi, No Gi, Rashguards, Shorts.)
- Keep shoes off the mat unless they are dedicated mat shoes. (For example: Wrestling / Boxing shoes.)
- If you are sick or have a skin disease please do not attend class. If you exhibit any symptoms you will be asked to leave.
- Do not talk while the instructor is talking.
- Inform the instructor if you need to leave the mat during class for the purpose of safety.
- Please be respectful of others with cell phones, instructors and fellow students to prevent distraction and potential privacy issues.
- Continue doing the technique or task given by the instructor until notified that you are finished. If there are any issues notify the instructor.
